What QRCode Monkey publishes
Its home page says "All generated QR Codes are 100% free and can be used for whatever you want", including commercial purposes, and that they "do not expire and will work forever". It also says the codes are static, so "you can't edit the QR code again."
When a static code is the right choice
If the content will never change, a static code from QRCode Monkey or from our static generator works the same way: the content sits in the pattern and no server is involved.
When you need to change it later
A dynamic code points at a short link you can edit, so printed codes follow your new address. A free account includes 10, Pro makes them unlimited, and they keep redirecting whether or not you pay: see our no-expiry pledge.

Questions
Do QRCode Monkey codes expire?
Its home page says they do not expire, because they are static (checked 2026-10-24).
Can I edit a QRCode Monkey code?
No. Its site says the codes are static, so they cannot be edited after you make them.
When should I choose a dynamic code instead?
When the destination might change, such as a menu, an event page or a price list. A dynamic code, free with an account, lets you edit it after printing.
